Rennes is the first city in France to offer its residents and visitors the Whatizis smartphone app. Simply by taking a photo, it reveals all the secrets of around a hundred monuments in Rennes.

There are three themed routes on offer: the unmissable walk through the historic centre, a route to explore the monuments along the GR39 urban trail, and a route around the stadiums and sports facilities, launched to mark the 2024 Olympic Games.

Written and audio guides created by local tour guides. All the monuments you’ve identified are saved in a travel journal. The app also suggests other nearby points of interest.
