Audioguide

Guido Nincheri was an Italian artist born in 1885 in Prato, not far from Florence. After spending a short time in Boston, he immigrated to Canada in 1913 and began painting frescoes and creating stained-glass windows for churches in Quebec and the Eastern United States. In his lifetime, he produced over 3,000 religious works of art, making him one of Canada’s most prolific religious artists of the twentieth century. His stained glass and decorative works adorn some 200 buildings, primarily churches across Canada and in several New England states.
