The Post Office

The Roy, Joly, Lefebvre, Inkel, Crête, Bilodeau, Caron, Aubé and Gagnon families in front of the post office in 1898.

Malvina's first post office was founded in 1862. Located in the center of the village, it was a place of gathering and exchange, especially on Sundays when, after a week of hard work, it was generally a day of rest, or even a feast day when people dressed up in their finest clothes.

The post office was located in what is now the main house on the site. More than a hundred years old, this house has retained its old-world charm, even the woodwork inside is original.
