Challenge 1

Ahead of this class, you should have read the RFP and your bid document. 🎯 The objective of this challenge is to discuss the possible intentions of impact that this event could have put forward. Most often this can be uncovered in the narrative contained in the initial RFP by the client, and/or would have been proposed by your local bid team, including your local champion or ambassador if there was one.

👉 Designate one scribe for your team and share the MURAL Board. 👉 Discuss the event and use the framing questions to generate some insights. 👉 Capture your insights by filling out the section contained under CHALLENGE 1 => "Draft an impact intention for your chosen event."

- Which key sector does this event belong to or supports? - Does this event explicitely formulates objectives on the development of this sector or the professional practice of its stakeholders? - If not, which positive benefit do you think this event could help generate for its parent sector or cluster? - Which positive benefit(s) do you think this event could help generate for your city - for your community? Your natural or built environment? Your academic or knowledge institutions? Municipal or provincial policy? - Is there a need or a gap in your city or the event's sector that could be positively affected by this event's success?
