Captain Bernier's exploits as a source of inspiration

Scale model of the Arctic displayed in the Capitain J.E. Bernier exhibition room. This sailboat was used for the polar expeditions made at the beginning of the 20th century to secure Canadian sovereignty in the Arctic.
