0Lumberjack Competition
Following the tradition, our amateur lumberjack skills competition will close the Sugar Festival (Sunday, April 2, at 1:30 pm).
This is a not-to-be-missed event where teams compete in four events. Each event focuses on a skill required to be a good lumberjack!
The two-man saw (godendard): two members of the same team will have to be coordinated to successfully saw the log!
The one-man saw: one member of the team will have to show strength and speed to win.
The hammer: a test of strength and precision as each team member will have to hit a nail once, one after each other, until the nail is fully hammered.
The axe throwing: the team with the most accurate throw will win this round!
The team that completes all the events in the shortest time will win the competition. Come and cheer on your favorite team, because the show will be on!
