In the summer of 2025, honouring the 25th anniversary of Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal, three emblematic art works found a permanent home in the heart of the Floralies Garden, in perfect harmony of the spirit of the place.

Comprised of thousands of meticulously cared-for flowers and plants, these living sculptures conveyed the commitment of the Parc to art, nature and ecological transition. They provoked thought while offering a gripping visual show. 

Inspired by the First Nations traditions, Mother Earth is a benevolent figure symbolizing the generosity of nature and the interdependence between humans and their environment. It encourages us to contemplate our relationship with the planet and the importance of preserving nature.

The Man Who Planted Trees is a stirring tribute to the Frédéric Back film of the same name that illustrates the power of a simple gesture: planting trees to give a rebirth to life. This epic work bears a message of hope for man and his planet, issuing a reminder that every act, however modest, can help regenerate the world that surrounds us. 

The third work is defined by six pairs of the letter Y spread throughout the site. Inspired by the Parc Jean-Drapeau logo, which itself is a reference to Expo 67 and its Man and His World theme, it evokes unity, collaboration and the collective spirit. Each Y symbolizes a human silhouette, illustrating a world where people join together to build a common future.
