A flagship event of Montreal’s fall cultural calendar, the World Press Photo Montreal Exhibition is presented annually at Bonsecours Market. Over 65,000 people attend this large-scale international exhibition, which has been organized since 1955 by the World Press Photo Foundation, based in the Netherlands.
Jackalope Festival

2026 UCI Road World Championships

The Festival Quartiers Danses (FQD) takes as its mission to democratize contemporary dance and bring it to spaces in which it is not normally found: streets, parks, public markets, museums, daycares, and community organizations. It is the annual rendezvous for contemporary dance both on stage and in an urban context. Its programming includes performances at the Place des Arts, outdoor performances throughout Montréal neighbourhoods, and screenings of short films on dance.

This edition offers festival-goers an indoor and outdoor journey that serves as an open laboratory for the future of projection mapping. The spectator takes part in it and becomes the actor! Transforming public spaces into a field of creative expression through projection mapping, this organization promotes the development of this art form while providing a showcase for local and international talent.
