The PHI Center
The PHI Centre is a space I always love visiting. Art meets technology here and I always leave feeling inspired. Since it's located in the Old Port of Montreal, you can easily make a day of it by getting a coffee at Tommy's, walking along the river and taking in the site either before or after goign to see their latest exposition.
BAnQ - The National Achives and Library of Quebec
The National Archives and Library of Québec in Montreal is the largest library in the province. It is a great spot to sit and read your favorite book, listen to your favorite music or go see their latest art and culture exhibition. Located on top of the Berri-UQAM metro, accessing the site is easy and convenient. SInce you are nearby Saint-Denis street, I suggest going to see their numerous restaurants, but I suggest going up the slight hill to enjoy the delicious vegan sushi shop Momo!
Un Po' Di Piu Restaurant
Un Peu Di Piu is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Known for its fresh pasta and welcoming decor, it's a perfect place for date night or dinner with friends. Just make sure you have reservations because they fill up quickly. Once you are there, make sure to try the Burrata, is is absolutely delicious.
Time Out Market Montreal
Time Out Market is a high-end food court located right in the underground and shopping district of Montreal. The space hosts some of Montreal's most celebrated restaurants and bars, where you will get to taste a smaller menu created by Montreal's best chefs. My personal favorite being the black garlic ramen at Marusan, but if ramen is not your cup of 'soup', there is plenty available at TIme Out Market to make sure you find something to your liking.
It also hosts Atelier des Saveurs. If you would like to take a cooking, or baking class, this is a great place to learn a new skill.
Coldroom Cocktail Bar
Coldroom is one of the best cocktail bar in the city. Situated in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal, it highlights beautiful stone walls and spacious booths for your party and yourself, or cozy spots at the bar if you are on a date. They do not take reservations, you simply ring the doorbell and wait for the doorman to find your perfect sport. While you wait, you can enjoy a signature cocktail at El Pequeño Bar, their staging area.
