Festival International de Jazz de Montréal

Every summer, thousands of music lovers from around the world flock to downtown Montréal for the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. Some 3,000 performers and musicians from over 30 countries treat audiences to a vast number of indoor and outdoor concerts, most of which are free, at and around the Quartier des spectacles. Easily accessible through various modes of transportation, the Festival continues to be a major Montréal attraction and a springboard for outstanding musical talent from here and afar.
Les Francos de Montreal

Les Francos de Montréal proudly showcases French-language music for a ten-day festival that brings together the best musical talents from the French-speaking world. The festival, happening at Quartier des Spectacles, features nearly 150 concerts, most of which are presented for free at many outdoor and indoor venues. Featuring performances in genres ranging from hip-hop and rock to folk electronic and more, there’s something for everyone. Since 1989 the festival has featured performances from superstar talents such as Marie Mai, Jean Leloup, Diane Tell and many others.
Festival St-Ambroise Fringe Montréal

Ce festival propose du théâtre, de la danse, de la musique, de la comédie, du cirque et plus encore. À travers plus de 800 représentations, quelque 500 artistes d’ici et d’ailleurs prennent d’assaut le Plateau-Mont-Royal pour célébrer la création dans plus de 20 salles. Les Premiers Vendredis are back! This unmissable summer event celebrates street food, culture, and music on the esplanade of Montreal’s Olympic Stadium. Come and taste a variety of dishes prepared by the many participating food vendors.
Holi - Festival of colours

The colour-throw is a traditional Holi activity that represents the sharing of joy and love. Wait for the cue and watch everyone rejoice as they toss coloured powder at one another! Festival MURAL

As an international public art festival bound to the celebration of creativity and the democratization of urban art, MURAL transforms for a week the Saint-Laurent Boulevard into a real open-air museum where local and international artists will unite their talents in the most creative manners. This year, Block Parties or ticketed concerts are held at Bassin Peel. Creativity and the visual arts await you!

On June 23 and 24, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day takes over the streets of Montreal. All across the city’s neighborhoods, events will be held to celebrate the province and its culture.

L’International des Feux Loto-Québec
July 2 to august 6

Montréal’s annual international fireworks competition, L'International des Feux Loto-Québec brings several of the city’s most iconic features together for 30 minutes of eye-popping fun, over the course of several weeks.
