Joyce Henderson's Story

Joyce Henderson is a lifelong educator and civil rights activist from the Green Pastures community in Spencer, Oklahoma, which she considers an integral part of the OKC metropolitan area. A proud graduate of Dunjee High School, her early life was shaped by a close-knit community where education, faith, and civic duty were paramount.
