The New Brunswick Apple Growers Association has 12 growers with orchards located in the southern and southwestern regions of the province. New Brunswick is the 5th largest producer in Canada. The queen of apples is still the famous McIntosh followed by the Cortland, but other varieties stand out like the Honey Crisp. More than thirty varieties of apples and crabapples are produced in New Brunswick, each with their own unique characteristics. So enjoy the fruits of our region in compote, pies, jelly or simply fresh.

Canadian apple growers produce over 412,000 tonnes of apples per year.
